Ræder Bing won a new public tender competition from DFØ

About DFØ

The Norwegian Agency for Public and Financial Management (DFØ) is mandated to help ensure sound financial management in Norway’s government institutions and that the government reaches its goals through good governance, organization, management and decision-making support.

DFØ has many tasks where privacy and security are important:

• DFØ enters into and manages joint purchasing agreements on behalf of Norwegian state enterprises.
• DFØ is also responsible for the Norwegian Government Procurement Centre and provides competence services that contribute to efficient and sustainable procurement in management.
• DFØ provides wage and accounting services to around 90 per cent of the Norwegian government administration.

About Privacy and Security

The framework agreement Ræder Bing won applies to information security, privacy/GDPR and the Norwegian Security Act.

• Information security entails risk management related to business information assets and advice in the processing of personal data, security of software and operating systems, data security and data protection, security of cyberphysical systems, security management and incident response.
• Privacy such as GDPR advice, data privacy breaches, updates and changes in relation to applicable law, compliance and training.
• Assistance and advice in compliance with the Norwegian Security Act.

These are the five lawyers who will primarily assist DFØ:

• Magnus Ødegaard, Partner and main contact for DFØ with specialist expertise and more than 24 years of relevant experience in such fields of law.

Other Privacy and Security Framework Agreements

Ræder Bing has several other framework agreements in the fields of privacy and security:

• The Norwegian Communications Authority (Nkom), Stiftelsen Norsk Rikstoto and Nye Veier AS apply to the subject area of privacy/GDPR and information security.
• Ræder Bing has also a framework agreement regarding legal assistance with AS Vinmonopolet, that among other fields of law includes privacy and security.
