Alexander is a partner and is part of Ræder Bing’s insurance team. He has broad expertise in insurance law matters relating to a wide range of insurance products, including professional liability insurance (covering lawyers’ liability, auditors’ liability, directors’ and officers’ liability), project insurance, property insurance and transport insurance. In addition to more general coverage assessments and quantum discussions, Alexander assists with matters concerning deadlines, fraud, reduction of claims etc. under the Norwegian Insurance Contracts Act and other applicable background law. Alexander also has experience from the insurance industry, having worked as a lawyer at Fremtind Forsikring AS.
Alexander advises, negotiates and handles disputes within insurance, liability and recourse claims. In addition to handling disputes within the areas mentioned above, as well as general liability disputes both in and outside contract, Alexander has particular experience with complex product liability cases. Alexander also assists with assessments of liability provisions in connection with contract negotiations, with a view to reducing the likelihood of subsequent disputes.
